Project Summary
April 2023 Update
Following our first public consultation event back in July 2022, we have been working to carefully consider all of the comments provided. This input has allowed us to make revisions to the project layout which reflect the feedback shared, which can be viewed by clicking the View Layout Map button below. We have also been out meeting with residents living closest to the site and will be actively engaging with community councils and members of the local community in the coming weeks to share updates.
Alongside this, we are working on the various planning studies and technical assessments required to prepare a robust planning application which will be guided by our ongoing community engagement and the feedback received from residents.
Unfortunately, progress has been slower than we would have liked due to delays from National Grid. Now that this has been resolved, we are planning our second public event, which we will be advertising soon. The next event will be held in advance of the planning application submission, which we estimate will be in June/July 2023.
