Awards

In 2010 Locogen won the Most Promising New Business Award at the British Chamber of Commerce Awards. The award was granted for the potential we showed as a company to grow into one of the key players in the sector.

In 2015 we won the Business Growth Award at The Scottish Green Energy Awards. This came after a period of outstanding growth for Locogen, in both turnover and headcount, alongside our successful diversification into different technology streams. You can read the full news article here.

In 2017 Locogen won the Best Community Engagement Award at The Scottish Green Energy Awards. The award recognised the Ben Mor Hydro shared ownership project. You can read more about the project and award here.

In 2018 Locogen client, Ore Valley Housing Association, won Best Community Project Award at The Scottish Green Energy Awards, for the 99.5m wind turbine at Dundonald, which we believe is the only community wind energy project in Scotland to be wholly owned by a housing association.

In 2020 Locogen client, North Uist Development Company was declared winner of the Best Engagement Award at The Scottish Green Energy Awards for the UistWind community wind energy project on the island.

In 2021 another Locogen client, Bespoke Community Development Company won Best Community Project Award at The Scottish Green Energy Awards for the Greencraig Wind Turbine, which we believe to be the last FiT accredited turbine in the UK.

We are proud to be recognised within the industry by these awards and look forward to adding to them in the years to come.
