East Gaywood Solar Project
Project Summary
We are pleased to share with you plans for the submission of a solar project at Gaywod Farm near Edenbridge.
This project is intended to help Edenbridge, Sevenoaks, Kent and the UK get one step closer to our 2050 net zero targets whilst also delivering economic and environmental benefits direct to the Edenbridge area.
Sevenoaks has a 2030 net zero target and we hope to play a part in achieving this by supplying green energy at a local level. The project will generate enough capacity to power approximately 7% of the residential homes in Sevenoaks.
The submission of our Gaywood East solar farm to Sevenoaks Council allows improved coordination of this exciting development and maintain grid connection timelines.
