Navigating contracts and contractors
Get clear advice on the contract strategy best suited to your project – full Balance of Plant (BoP) or EPC. We have extensive experience in NEC4, FIDIC, JCT and bespoke contracts. We can manage your tender process from end to end, deal with tenderers’ queries, check compliance, interrogate prices, and provide a fully vetted shortlist and recommendation.

Experience you can rely on
We act as a central point of contact for you, your lender, contractors and other stakeholders – managing multiple parties and all the interfaces between them. With extensive experience in renewables developments, we’ll manage the process of getting your asset completed to specification, programme and budget.

Quality assurance from renewables experts
Our civil, electrical, solar and wind engineering expertise will be on hand during the construction phase to check workmanship, quality and overall compliance with design. Site visits will be conducted to witness key activities and stages including interim and completion testing.

We simplify managing contractors, designers, and stakeholders by providing Health and Safety consultancy and acting as Principal Designer. Our chartered H&S professionals support you in meeting your CDM 2015 obligations, ensuring compliance and effective risk management throughout both design and construction phases.

Project management
Principle point of contact for client and responsible for progress reports, EPC contract programme reviews, ownership of the risk and review register and project programme.

CDM Principal Designer
Will ensure compliance and practical design risk management across both the design and construction phases.

Health & Safety and CDM advice
Help to ensure Regulation 4 of CDM 2015 are met with a focus on H&S during the construction phase.

Grid connection management
Managing the relationship between National Grid and key stakeholders to ensure targets are met. Including design works, procurement and assisting with technical queries.

Construction management
From contract signature to commissioning and take over our construction management service with regular site visits to have awareness of site activities and build strong relationships with BoP contractor.

Site supervision
Overseeing day-to-day work of site contractors including attending meetings and monitoring and ensuing the inspection test plans, RAMS and H&S are being adhered to.
Recent projects
Kirk Hill wind farm, Ayrshire
Throughout the development of this eight-turbine wind farm we provided multiple services; from lender’s technical advisor, discharging the planning conditions, provision of PMO during construction and leading as Project Manager and Owner’s Engineer during the construction phase. We also advised on the procurement of wind turbines and the turbine supply agreement.
Arbikie Distillery, Angus
For this ground-breaking project – production of green hydrogen using wind power – we managed the civils and electrical contracts, and carried out all contract administration, including dealing with variations and programming issues.
Rochdale and Salford solar farm
Acting as Project Manager and Owners Engineer on this 5 MW solar development on the behalf of the local authority owners, we supported with tendering and contract negotiations, undertook detailed design reviews and ensured CDM compliance.
Easter Drumclair wind farm, Falkirk
During this project, we helped secure survey works including topographical and GS6 overhead line surveys, ground investigation and gathering of utilities information.
