The UK Government has set ambitious targets to achieve 70GW of installed solar generation capacity by 2035, which is four times the current installed capacity.
Solar projects were typically developed and constructed to established design templates or rules of thumb. Now, under a mostly subsidy free PPA market and with volatile PV module prices, the best designs are not so evident.
