We carried out acquisition due diligence for Ripple Energy on an 18 MW wind farm. After successful purchase, we took on the role of Lender’s Technical Advisor for financial close and construction monitoring.
We provided lenders’ TA for a consented wind development at Strathallan which is deploying refurbished multi-megawatt scale turbines. Besides reviewing agreements and costs, we assessed the long-term reliability risks of reconditioned turbines and recommended ways to mitigate them.
Our client was the potential purchaser of a 250 MW portfolio of wind farms at different development stages. We assessed risk for each project’s consent, and opportunities to optimise each development. We also assessed grid connection costs, timescales and export capacities.
We carried out a speedy red flag review followed by detailed acquisition due diligence for a portfolio of three operational wind farms, totalling 28 MW capacity. We focused on historic performance, key project agreements, planning compliance risks and proposed turbine upgrades.
Our client planned to acquire a 42 MW consented solar PV project in South-West England. We completed successful acquisition due diligence, working closely with the client to identify risks and opportunities to maximise performance.
