Recent projects
Screening and feasibility
We worked in partnership to identify over 40 potential solar sites in the North West and South of England. We’ve since supported acquisition of rights to four of these sites.
Feasibility and design
Our client is working to minimise its carbon footprint. We carried out eight constraints assessments on over 1000 hectares potential site area.
Public inquiry
An objection stalled Fred. Olsen Renewables’ wind farm project in Aberdeenshire. We successfully delivered consent through the public inquiry process.
Compliance
We’re working with developer, regulator and contractors to ensure that the delivery of a complex eight-turbine wind farm in South Ayrshire meets planning consents.
Grid connections
We submitted the grid application and led on all negotiations to ensure a timely connection for a 110MW wind farm in the Scottish Highlands.
Grid works
Our client is developing a portfolio of solar farms. We identified sites to ensure affordable, efficient grid connections. 100MW has been secured across four sites.
Owner’s engineer
Kirk Hill is an eight-turbine wind farm. As Owners Engineer, we coordinated the construction of this project, including cash flow, risk and issues register, and management of a private water supply issue.
