Locogen Takes A Seat At Scottish Renewables SME Roundtable

We’re delighted to support the 2020 Scottish Renewable Energy Festival and honoured to be one of 10 Scottish SMEs chosen to attend the Scottish Renewables SME Roundtable event with Energy Minister Paul Wheelhouse MSP tomorrow (Wednesday November 4).

The event will give those companies the opportunity to showcase their achievements while, crucially, putting forward suggestions on how the Scottish Government can act to help us lead the shift to a clean energy future.

SMEs provide the backbone of the Scottish economy and their role in delivering our net-zero targets cannot be over-estimated. The SME sector makes up more than 99% of all private sector companies in Scotland and provides more than half all private sector jobs. Within the renewables industry, SMEs make up around 60% of Scottish Renewables members.

Typically agile and quick to adopt change, SMEs such as Locogen are well placed to help clients identify the new business models and technologies that will lead them, and the country, towards our net-zero targets.

Adopting a net-zero business plan is not just for government and large corporations. That’s why we’re currently working with organisations of all sorts and sizes, from tech companies and manufacturers to professional services practices and public sector bodies, to help them on the road to net-zero.
